"RECRUITING
"Dark Legend on Baelgun has got Karazhan cleared and HKM down, with Gruul on notice. They're looking for mature, dedicated individuals with 70s (healers and tanks preferred) ready to raid. Unforgettable on Magtheridon-H is up to 5/9 in BT and wants to pick up some rogues, mages, shadow priests, resto shammies and holy pallys to continue the dance in BT and move on to Sunwell eventually. Mutiny of EU Khadgar-A, a recently split raiding arm of Immortal Dawn, downed Grull, HKM, Void Reaver and clear Kharazan in the first week of raiding! They're currently looking for resto droods and shammies -- hit up their website to apply. Incident Response Team is on Tichondrius-A and recruiting non-paladin healers (and maybe a shadow priest) to help kill Reliquary of Souls and push to clear Black Temple. Join up to kill Illidan with just two raid days a week! Sol Polaris on Silvermoon-A is a two year old guild that is close knit and truly has a family atmosphere and appeal. They've got Kara on farm and have defeated Gruul on various occasions, Mag is up next, and they're looking for help -- people that are mature, responsible, and knowledgeable about their class. They raid Thurs, Fri, and Sunday, and usually have a few hardcore PvP teams going as well. Diurne of Ravenholdt-H is a casual guild of competent PvE/PvP players now recruiting to fill out their 25 man roster for Magtheridon and beyond. cheap wow gold They run two full-clear Karazhan groups every week, consistently clean out Gruul's lair, and have mastered the first three aspects of Zul'Aman as well. Dark Epic Spartans on Tanaris-A are looking for priests (or any other healers, although they'll accept apps from all classes but hunters) to start casually raiding into Karazhan. They're a fun and friendly guild with players on both the casual and hardcore spectrums, so bring the playstyle you want and expect to have fun.
That's it for this week's GW (and aren't you glad we didn't post it during HKO Insider. I am -- while I'm sure HKO drama is harsh, I like WoW drama much, much better). wow gold Don't forget to send those tips to wowguildwatch@gmail.com, and until next week, as always, happy raiding! " "I have been told many times that a hunter should not pull because he is not good enough to play MT. (Main Tank) I have found that as a Hunter I can better split the mobs. Even easier now that pets can have outragous amounts of armour. My party sits back outside of agro range but within bow. I set my frost trap and get a regen buff on my pet before I send him in. Sent in the pet to grab all agro. wow po It is important to not shoot until pet has attacked so as not to get noticed by the mobs. Once pet has agro I fire multi shot to pull 2 mobs to me. Party waits until one gets frozen and attacks the other. I continue assisting my pet and may close in to add my mend pet. Party should be able to take out both mobs and if my pet is getting weak I fire anouther multishot to pull more to me and my party. As warrior and tank build, I hate to see how hunters take mass aggro on 4 or 5 mobs. wow gold I takes a lot of work to get them off and all on you. 30% dmg reduction and medium HP is not the same as 50% and high HP. So keep your job as dmg dealer or exelent second tank, but let the main tanking with the plate-shield combination. Taking agro is easy with something AOE - mages, warlocks have this problem.
Equip yourself with a bomb or grenade (if you have engineering) or EZ-thro if not and agro will be yours (all except one one that pet directly engaged). My pet can also cowel (a most unused pet skill), but when he does I usually have alot of agro built up so mob is mine. MT needs as much agro that when the heal comes agro will not be lost. wow gold kaufen I never played my warrior enough to learn how difficult this is. I use disengage to feed agro between me and my pet. Feign Death to save my self from a run back into zone. If I ever get this much agro with anouther playing MT then I am doing something wrong. For single pulls I like to let the MT know and let him/her do the pull." .

"Now that you see one of the important reasons to level up First Aid, how do you get it to a reasonable level, quickly. Personally, I like farming dungeons for my First Aid materials, but that’s because I have a max-level toon. Two runs of Ragefire Chasm, Two of Dead Mines and then about 6 wings of Scarlet Monestary and I’m at 225 First Aid and ready to do the quest in Hammerfall to up the max to 300. If you’re starting a new toon, however, consider leveling up First Aid more naturally - take the Linen Cloth you find from humanoids from level 6 to the low teens and turn them into bandages, and as you advance your level, the cloth types will advance, too. If you’re around level 40, consider farming RFC (or the Alliance equiv) for your Linen Cloth, or taking out humanoids in that 6-12 level range in zones you used to play in. Wool Cloth can be found on the Razormanes in The Barrens but is also present in Dead Mines and Wailing Caverns in piles. And of course, if the prices are good because there’s a lot listed, buy some from the Auction House! And yes, Wool Cloth is ALWAYS that expensive (more than Linen Cloth or Silk Cloth, at times more than Mageweave Cloth)… but that’s another topic for another day! Greasing the Social Wheels, An Introduction World of Warcraft is a massively MULTIPLAYER online role playing game. There are now some 9 MILLION registered players according to Blizzard, and it’s THE most popular online role playing game going. With that many PEOPLE playing the game, it’s important as a member of the WoW community on your realm to think about how you can do things to “win friends and influence people”, as having friends in-game can be a huge benefit to you in ways you cannot comprehend nor predict when you first begin playing. What is “Social Wheel Greasing”. wow gold At some point in life we all learn that certain mechanical objects work better when they’re well-oiled than when they haven’t been oiled in a while. Not only that, but the guy who brings oil is appreciated by anyone who has experienced the pain of a poorly-oiled machine. This applies to WoW as well: The player who has taken the time to prepare adequately for a group encounter is able to do their part in being part of that well-oiled machine, and isn’t the one to cause the group to “seize up” and experience complications. " "Some of the more interesting and “nerve-wracking” quests that exist on World of Warcraft are the “disguise” ones. Where you need to get close to an enemy and activate a disguise that roots you to the ground like the one in Legion Hold in Shadowmoon Valley, or where you need to suit up in a disguise and then head into a normally-hostile town for some purpose or another. Whenever we embark on one of these quests, we’re not sure when to activate the disguise, and not sure whether we’re going to die if we activate it at the wrong time and then have to re-start the quest for some reason. And I don’t know if my guildmate companions notice (nobody tends to mention it, we just keep playing and move on) but there are very very few disguise quests that morph in-game female characters into female disguises. wow gold kaufen Like, this one in Netherstorm I was doing with my also-female guildmate - quite the coordinated equipment setup on this disguise, but it’s still a(n emasculated) male! The Leper Gnome costume is also male… I’m glad to see that the Netherwing quest line is supposed to have a Fel Orc female introduced, but of course, my next toon into that quest line will be a male, so I won’t get to test it out for quite a while! " "My Blood Elf found another level 1 cooking recipe that looks to be lucrative like Crispy Bat Wing and available through normal level 6 progression.
I’ll post my results later. It’s a Burning Crusade recipe so I might need to update my itemstats plugin in Wordpress as well, and you’ll need the expansion pack to buy the recipe from the vendor. My Undead Mage has completed the Delivery to Silverpine Forest quest, bringing her to The Sepulcher, where Recipe: Smoked Bear Meat is sold at a vendor in the crypt. wow gold Purchase for under 3s each, and I’m listing a couple on the AH for 75s buy out each. It’s sold well on other realms, but since there’s nothing special about the food it produces, we’ll see how it goes. My mage is a miner, so I’ve got 58 Copper Bars to sell. wow po I’ve been checking prices and quantities on the Auction House but haven’t felt like I wanted to list my stuff yet. The weekend looms, I can afford to wait. Now that my Mage hit level 10, I went to the Auction House and bought myself some armor with +’s to intelligence and spirit. Cheapest wow gold I paid under 10s for each piece and got a wand as well. Tomorrow I’ll post what my equipment is, as I do not have access right now otherwise. Note, when I sell ‘low level greens’, I list them at way more than I’d buy ‘em for. I’d have listed my own equipment for 50s buy out, but when it comes to buying for myself, I’m frugal. This is part of the habit that lets me accumulate enough cash to spend on big things like mounts and nice equipment later on. " .

Frost Mage’s Secondary Epic Set, Spellstrike
"The Spellstrike set (Spellstrike Pants and Spellstrike Hood) were my next Tailoring/gearing goal after the Shadoweave was done, but it took a lot longer to get crafted for a number of reasons. First, because I had already commited as a Shadoweave tailor, and second because I was in a leveling guild with people who were still getting toons to 70 and not focusing on gearing for Heroics or Raiding yet so I couldn’t find a Shadowcloth spec’d tailor to trade with easily. wow gold I ended up watching the AH for good buying prices on Spellcloth and for good selling prices on Shadowcloth, and trading my wares. I then turned to the Trade line to find crafters who had the actual patterns, because I couldn’t farm the correct instances enough to get them to drop. I definitely funneled a lot of money into buying motes and primals and Spellcloth (which sells for more than Shadowcloth does), but also saved a mittload of cash fishing up most of my Primal Waters and using my Alchemy Transmutes to create most of my own Primal Mights. What Goals Now. In closing, I’d like to mention that I don’t have great goals for this toon now. wow gold kaufen Doing Heroics, gathering badges, and going on occasional 25-man evening raids tends to be what I have time for these days, and I’m feeling pretty powerful on this toon. So, I turned the money funnel away from my Mage and towards my other toons, at least for a while, to get everyone’s professions maxed out no matter what level they are. Next update up, my 70 Hunter, which has now been into Karazhan on occasion when my Mage is already locked out, but has not yet been in a 25-man raid scenario. " "I did a lot of profession-switching with this Mage toon all through his life. wow gold Picked up and dropped Leatherworking at least twice, and Engineering, Enchanting, Mining, and Skinning at least once. At 66 I dropped Skinning which was at 375 and picked up Tailoring, knowing from having read a little that crafted Tailoring gear is superior to even Tier 4 gear, and figuring it would be a long time before I’d be playing somewhere to exceed that gearing level. wow po I specialized in Shadoweave Tailoring because I intended to stay a Frost mage, with my goals set on Heroics and not much far beyond. My Hunter already had 350 Fishing, so I used my huge need for Primal Water as motivation to max out my fishing in Nagrand where there are occasional pools of Pure Water that have a high percentage of Mote of Water and often come out in twos or threes. Cheapest wow gold The first piece of my Shadoweave set crafted was the Frozen Shadoweave Boots, and by the time I had fished enough Primal Water, my Hunter was at 375 fishing. While leveling up to 375 in Tailoring, my Mage went on some serious Fishing expeditions, supplied some friends with healing and stamina buff foods, and finished off my Shadoweave set with half and half bought Primal Waters and fished ones. Main Toon Update: 70 Mage, Alchemist/Tailor
"Mage Toon History The Mage is my only surviving male toon, and was my second toon to 70. I advanced him in such a way that grinding reputation at 70 for my Heroics keys would be as easy as possible because I’d taken the most efficient route to obtaining different levels of reputation early on. wow gold Of course, by the time I hit 70 with my Mage in November 2007, patch 2.3(. ) came out and lowered the Heroics key reputation requirement from Revered to Honored. I was able to buy 3 keys as soon as I hit 70 and the other two came along shortly afterwards with a little bit of instancing in the regular 68+ dungeons of Botanica/Mechanar and Durnholde/Black Morass. Gearing Up For Heroics Having done most of my reputation gain through low-level dungeons (Thrallmar) or turn-ins (Cenarion Expedition, Lower City) or single-player quests, my gearing when I hit level 70 wasn’t all that great, and it took me about a month of crafting gear to get myself to +400-450 frost damage and 6.9k health (both unbuffed), which is where I started into Heroics in mid-December 2007. By early January 2008 I was already at +691 frost damage unbuffed, just having changed over to Heroics dungeons and collecting and turning in the Badge of Justice reward that each boss drops in Heroic mode. Since then, my gear has continued to slowly improve through Heroics badge turn-ins and reputation rewards and crafted gear. wow gold kaufen And of course, understanding of what it was I was trying to aim for in my stats. But, these days, my playing time is reduced because of sport hobbies and business ventures, so my overall stats really haven’t improved a great lot. In the past three weeks I’ve only had a chance to raid twice and hit one Heroic. " "It’s completely possible to get your WoW toons from creation to max level without ever relying on another person (outside of those using the Auction House) to help you. wow gold If you’re fine with being 100% solo, then don’t worry about this stuff unless it directly helps you. Or, if you have Real Life friends playing, this may not apply. wow po However, most of us enjoy the opportunity to join our friends for questing groups, or join in on 5-person or larger parties that are going into progressively more difficult dungeons located throughout the game, and most of us are going to rely on building friendships with virtual strangers in order to join this experience. So, in short, only worry about it if you’re interested in doing more dungeon-based group content or if you’ve got a dream to “maybe, someday, perhaps, join a raiding guild” with any of your characters. How Does Wheel Greasing Help. Truth: Relationships online aren’t like ones you develop with people you’re in the same room with. Cheapest wow gold Physical presence offers a lot of influence and is less easy to ignore than when “you” are just words written on my screen. As a result, players who have an interest in joining this fun and dynamic portion of the Warcraft universe (dungeon parties, guild questing groups, anything non-solo) benefit from learning how to “stand out” from the Average Player, while also learning to recognize other players who strive to be Above Average. Average Players tend to get left behind when the “A Team” wants to go out and do a group-based venture because the A-Team consists of players who “go the extra mile” to make sure they’re in tip-top condition for contributing to the dungeon or raid team. When not to stun
"My ability to generate threat over an extended time frame is inversely proportional to your ability to generate threat. Huh. Ok here is what I mean, we will use a mage for this example but the same applies to rogues hunters, or anything else not a warrior or a bear druid. As a fight commences both of us have two bars. wow eu We both have big full green health bars. Under my health bar is a big empty bar. Under your health bar is a big full blue bar. When you do dmg, it drains your blue bar. When I give or take dmg it fills my red bar. wow euro You have all the ammo you need at the start of a fight to make all kinds of threat which will pull all kinds of aggro. I don’t have much ammo to generate threat or take aggro, it takes me a minute. The difference is that at the beginning of the fight, your threat making resource; mana, is full. You at this moment can activate whatever ability you want and instantly create tons of threat. wow power levelingMine is empty. My resource, rage, fills up as I give and take dmg. Over the course of the fight I will get a lot to spend, so the longer the fight goes on the more and more threat I make. Problem is at the beginning of the fight I have little or no rage. It takes me time to build the threat to hold aggro off of you. So what does this mean to you. It means that if you start every pull with your biggest most evil 10 second cast fireball, it”s gonna be real tough for me to get aggro off of you with my empty rage bar. How to apply this advice: You need to learn to pace your dps. wow powerleveling Whether you are a mage or a rogue or a lock whatever (except hunters who feign death whenever the cooldown is up) start off the fight with lighter lower dmg attacks. As the fight wears on rank it up to the bigger meaner stuff. You can do the same amount of dmg, but instead of front loading all of your dps (and threat) back load it. Seriously, this is the biggest problem I see with every single DPS class in the game. Yes, I can taunt the mob off of you, but then the taunt is on cool down. wow power level What if the mob then does an aggro wipe like a knock down and it goes after you. What if it stuns me right after I taunt so I can’t build threat. You should be trying to play in such a way that you don”t ever have to see the warrior taunt outside of extenuating circumstances like aggro wipes. " .
